Markets closed Lower, New 52-High and Low Stocks

Markets demonstrated downtrend from the mid-session to closing on Friday, led by losses in financials like YesBank (down.3.25%) and Indiabulls Housing Finance (down 3.15%)

The Sensex witnessed declines ending lower by 192 points at 39395-level and the Nifty closed at 11789, down 53 points.

The Sensex closed down 0.48%-percent but recorded a 0.5-percent weekly gain, while the broader NSE Nifty ended 0.45-percent lower but gained 0.55-percent in the week. Both the benchmarks closed higher for the first time in one month.

The New 52-Week & High and Lows: Power Finance Corp, REC, SBI,  HavellsIndia, TitanCompany, Siemens  were among other stocks that hit a 52-week high on the NSE.

Conversely, SintexIndustries, Castrol India, Cox&Kings and Sadbhav Infra were among other stocks that hit a 52-week Low on the NSE.
